German Bike FAQ

Is German Bike a real company?

Yes. German Bike LLC operates DeutscheFahrrad.de. The current business is owned and operated by Justin Archer as an online, California-based retailer. The store began as DeutscheFahrrad.de in 2023 and was acquired and repositioned under German Bike in 2025.

Why does the website address still say DeutscheFahrrad?

DeutscheFahrrad.de is the established domain. German Bike is the customer-facing retail brand and German Bike LLC is the operating company.

Do you have a physical store?

No. German Bike is currently an online-only retailer and does not operate a walk-in showroom.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders require approximately 3–4 business days for processing. Transit commonly takes another 7–10 business days after processing, but product-specific lead times, remote destinations and carrier conditions can vary.

What does standard shipping cost?

For the European Union, including Germany, standard shipping is €25 below €150 and €10 from €150 upward. For the United States, standard shipping is $99 below $150 and $10 from $150 upward. Optional expedited services may appear where available. Checkout shows the rate that controls before payment.

How do I track an order?

Tracking is emailed when it becomes available, commonly around five business days after the order is placed. Use the Track Order page, or contact us if a number does not begin showing movement after several business days.

Can one order arrive in more than one package?

Yes. Items can arrive separately and on different dates. Where more than one tracking number is available, German Bike may send the additional numbers separately by email.

What is the return period?

Eligible EU consumers generally have a 14-calendar-day statutory right to notify us that they are withdrawing from an eligible distance-sale purchase. Conditions, costs, refund timing and statutory exceptions are explained on our Returns & Refunds page.

Do all products have a one-year German Bike warranty?

No. German Bike does not advertise a universal store warranty. EU statutory conformity rights apply where relevant, and any manufacturer warranty varies by brand and model. German Bike helps coordinate documented manufacturer claims.

Are all e-bikes approved for public-road use?

No. Motor power, assisted speed, throttle behavior, configuration and documentation vary. Check the product-specific status and our Road Use & Compliance page. If a status is unverified, do not assume the product is approved for public-road use.

Will my bike arrive fully assembled?

Assembly varies by product. Bikes commonly require tasks such as aligning or installing handlebars, installing pedals or a front wheel, adjusting the saddle, checking brakes and inflating tires. Product-specific information controls. Professional assembly or inspection is recommended whenever you are unsure.

Which brands do you carry?

The catalog includes established and emerging bike, e-bike and accessory brands. See Brands & Suppliers for an explanation of our sourcing language.

How do I contact support?

Use the contact form. Include your order number and product model when relevant. We normally respond within 24–48 business hours, Monday through Friday.
