German Bike is an English-language international bicycle and micromobility retailer serving all 27 EU countries and additional supported international markets. Our established domain, DeutscheFahrrad.de, reflects our origins—not a Germany-only service area.
2023: the original launch
Joe Mazloum founded and launched DeutscheFahrrad.de in Germany in 2023 as an ecommerce store for electric bicycles. Joe remains part of the company's history as the original founder, but he no longer owns or operates the business.
2025: acquisition and a new operating company
Justin Archer acquired the website and business assets from Joe through a seller-financed transaction in 2025. The sale transferred the business in full. Justin now owns and operates the store through German Bike LLC as Owner-Operator & CEO.
Why the brand changed
The store retained DeutscheFahrrad.de as its established domain while adopting German Bike as the customer-facing retail brand. Following the acquisition, German Bike expanded beyond its original national market. English is the storefront's shared language for riders across the entire European Union and our additional supported international markets, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Türkiye.
Bicycles, e-bikes and practical rider needs remain at the center. Our name and domain do not mean that we sell only to Germany. Current delivery terms are published on our Shipping & Delivery page.
What comes next
The operating priority is straightforward: replace vague marketing with specific product information, strengthen supplier and documentation records, clarify road-use status model by model and country by country, and make support, delivery, returns and warranties easier to understand before purchase.
