This policy explains how German Bike LLC (“German Bike,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit or purchase through DeutscheFahrrad.de, contact us, create an account or use our services.
Controller and contact
German Bike LLC operates DeutscheFahrrad.de and is responsible for the merchant-side processing described here. Contact support@deutschefahrrad.de, use deutschefahrrad@gmail.com as backup, or submit our contact form.
Information we collect
- Order and account data: name, billing and shipping address, email, telephone number if supplied, account details and order history.
- Transaction data: products, prices, payment status, refunds and fraud-screening results. Complete payment-card credentials are handled by the checkout payment provider.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, interactions, referring source and approximate location.
- Support data: messages, photographs, videos, serial numbers and other information submitted about an order, return, warranty or product.
- Marketing data: subscription status, consent records and message engagement.
Purposes and legal bases
We use information to process and deliver orders, calculate tax and shipping, communicate about orders, provide accounts and tracking, prevent fraud, administer returns and product support, improve the store, comply with law and establish or defend claims. For customers in the European Economic Area, legal bases can include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and service improvement, and consent where required.
Service providers and recipients
We share information as reasonably necessary with providers involved in operating the store, including Shopify, payment processors, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, warehouses, carriers, fraud-prevention providers, analytics and communication services, and professional advisers. An order may require delivery and product information to be shared with a supplier or fulfillment partner.
International processing
German Bike is based in the United States and the store uses providers and suppliers in multiple countries. Information may be processed outside the customer's country. Where required, transfers should use an applicable legal mechanism and contractual safeguards.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies and similar technologies support essential storefront functions, account access, cart persistence, security, checkout and analytics, and—where enabled—optional marketing. Use the store's cookie controls and browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent the store from functioning.

Marketing
Unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or contact us. Necessary service communications about an order may still be sent.
Children
The store is not directed to children who cannot legally enter a purchase contract. Orders for children's products must be placed by an adult.
Security
We use reasonable measures and Shopify's hosted commerce infrastructure, but no internet system is completely secure. Never send passwords or full payment-card numbers by email.
